Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager is responsible for ensuring that products and services
meet the established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance.
This role includes overseeing the implementation and maintenance of quality management
systems (QMS), ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements such as
ISO, BIS, and other applicable certifications and standards. The QA Manager will lead efforts
in the development and maintenance of testing parameters and audit protocols, while
working closely with all departments to ensure quality objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management Systems (QMS):
Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the
organization’s QMS.
Ensure compliance with relevant ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, 14001) and Bureau of
Indian Standards (BIS), as well as other statutory or regulatory bodies.
Develop procedures, guidelines, and control plans to maintain consistent quality
performance across the organization.
Ensure internal quality audits are conducted regularly and that any non-conformities
are addressed in a timely manner.
Regulatory and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to quality,
safety, and the environment.
Prepare and coordinate quality audits (internal and external) to maintain relevant
certifications and licenses.
Keep abreast of new regulations, standards, and guidelines affecting quality
management and communicate them effectively across the organization.
Continuous Improvement & Monitoring:
Design and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and quality metrics to
monitor the overall quality performance of the organization.
Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives to
reduce defects and enhance quality.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of operations, ensuring the
involvement of key stakeholders in improvement projects.
Testing & Validation:
Develop testing and validation protocols to ensure the consistent production of high-
quality goods/services.
Work closely with the R&D, production, and supply chain teams to establish testing
parameters, acceptance criteria, and process control measures.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
Supplier Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with procurement to ensure suppliers meet quality standards.
Conduct supplier audits and establish systems for continuous supplier performance
evaluation.
Training & Development:
Train and mentor staff on quality management practices and audit requirements.
Ensure all relevant employees are aware of compliance and quality standards

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Professional certifications in quality systems such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing are preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality management, with a strong understanding of statutory, regulatory, and quality audit standards such as ISO, BIS, etc. Proven experience in the development and management of quality control systems. Excellent understanding of quality methodologies, tools, and techniques (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis). Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams. Key Skills: Knowledge of Quality Standards: Thorough knowledge of ISO, BIS, and other applicable quality standards. Audit Experience: Proven experience in preparing for and successfully passing internal and external audits. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong skills in data analysis, root cause analysis, and process improvement technique
